Emily is an award winning cake artist and is recognised as one of the finest hand painted cake specialists in the UK, winning the prestigious Cake Masters Award for Painted Cake Artist of the year 2022. She prides herself in creating truly unique and memorable wedding cakes, individually designed and hand painted in her signature style to the highest standard. Each cake that leaves her kitchen is baked using the finest and freshest locally sourced ingredients, ensuring that it is as deliciously indulgent as it is beautiful.

My Studio...
Emily's pretty studio is based in the centre of the city of Truro, Cornwall in Princes House, a beautiful Georgian mansion house which is also home to many other creative businesses, most with roots in the wedding industry. Her kitchen is a sanctuary to all things cake and is where she bakes and creates all of her masterpieces. Emily is busy working away in her studio most days however design consultations and cake tastings are by appointment only.

The book is an up to date step by step cake decorating bible covering everything from how to cover flawless cakes to modern royal icing, hand painting and sugar flower techniques. Emily regularly writes step by step tutorials for 'Cakes and Sugarcraft Magazine' and 'Wedding Cakes Magazine', creating individual projects for weddings and special occasions and giving inside tips on how she creates her hand painted masterpieces.
