I WON AN AWARD!

I am super excited to announce that I have been awarded the ‘EDIBLE PAINTER OF THE YEAR’ award at the recent DMA’s hosted by D’licious Magazine!

It is such an honour to win this award as not only was it judges by a panel of highly esteemed industry professionals but it also has a public vote element, and it means the world that so many people took time out of their busy days to send me their votes!

I have worked incredibly hard over the past 12 years, building my brand, honing my skills and developing my style and to have this recognised means the absolute world - as you can see from my happy little face!

The awards night itself was held in Leeds Castle in Kent and was lots of fun! Cake stars from all over the world gathered together to celebrate each others successes dressed to impress rather than in our usual messy aprons! The night was full of lots of cheering, lots of giggles (and a little bit of wine!) I was super honoured to get to present an award too - to Olbaa Cake Box company for the best online cake community for their awesome podcast - in an industry where many of us work completely alone having access to community is so important and definitely worth celebrating!
