A dream collaboration

This is a lovely story of an unexpected cake order and a collaboration made in heaven! ⁠

My lovely friend @suzanneespercakeschool recently got in touch to ask if I would be interested in working with her on a cake collaboration for the incredible cake industry icon @calli_creations who was about to celebrate a milestone birthday!⁠
⁠Being that Suzy is in Scotland and I am in Cornwall - different ends of the UK - I wasn't entirely sure how it would work at first but after she told me the whole story I just had to say yes!⁠

Suzy was had been commissioned by Calli's husband and bestie Paula from Australia @cakesbypaulie who wanted the cake to represent both her heritage in South Africa and birth place in London. As well an incorporating her super gorgeous doggy Theo...⁠
⁠As the design discussions between them all unfolded talks about painting a London skyline came up and that is when she popped me a call and asked if I would like to be involved too! How could I say no!!⁠
⁠So our little collaboration was born with Suzy doing her magic on sugar flowers, Paulie making Theo the dog and myself painting a london Skyline - A dream team! ⁠
⁠My painted tier was a dummy cake which I shipped up to Scotland where Suzy put it all together with her 2 cake tiers and arranged the flowers etc - don't they look incredible!⁠

I am happy to say that Calli loved it and happy tears were shed! ⁠
